Israel Luna Miño

Israel Luna Miño is a multidisciplinary designer working at the intersection of design, technology, and research. He has been involved in cross-scale design projects, ranging from micro to macro scales, developing a unique expertise in integrating design principles across various disciplines.

 

As an experienced collaborator in multidisciplinary design and technology teams in Germany, the UK, and Latin America, Israel has contributed to a broad spectrum of projects in architecture, digital design, product design, and manufacturing, focusing on streamlining workflows and processes. 

 

Israel holds a diploma and two master’s degrees in the fields of design and technology. He earned a Master of Science in Integrative Technologies and Design from the Institute of Computational Design, University of Stuttgart, specializing in computational geometry, algorithmic design, robotic fabrication, fiber composites, and textile materials. Additionally, he attained a Master of Architecture and Urban Design (with Distinction) from The Bartlett, University College London, where he focused on the use of cutting-edge technology and the application of computational methods across various scales of design, ranging from individual objects to buildings and urban environments.

 

Israel graduated with a five-year Diploma in Architecture (with Cum Laude) from USFQ in Ecuador. He also completed courses in urban, product, graphic, and industrial design at the Catholic University in Santiago de Chile, Universidad de los Andes in Colombia, and the Architectural Association in the UK.
